Once you're inside, you'll find pleasing decor and in-room amenities like ELEMIS bath products and spa-branded bathrobes and slippers to enhance your stay. I would say that a Porthole cabin isn’t worth paying any extra for compared to a standard Interior. Yes, you do get a tiny bit of natural light, but the thickness of the walls means that the amount is limited, as is the view. If space is important to you, and you think you’ve got the budget to spare, then a Balcony could be a better option than a Carnival cruise interior room.

Carnival Jubilee offers a Havana Experience enclave, a private area (accessible only by keycard) where guests staying in these cabins get exclusive access to a small pool, outdoor bar and sun deck. Just remember, these rooms are made for two guests, not four, so make sure to let them know your crew size. But honestly, they aren’t my top pick because there’s a walkway between your balcony and the ship’s edge, which can kinda mess with your privacy. The sofa in the extended balcony stateroom converted each night into a sleeper bed (not to be mistaken with a roll-out couch). Essentially, the stateroom attendant would remove the back cushions each evening and the sofa was transformed into a twin bed. During the day, the sleeper bed served as a couch for the stateroom. The layouts between our inside cabin and the extended balcony stateroom were totally different; however, the decor, color schemes and carpet were identical.
I'd argue that even a family with children would find the space a little cramped. We expected to see more differences between the inside cabin's bathroom and the extended balcony stateroom, but for the most part, they were the same. Both bathrooms featured shelving above and below the bathroom counter.
All Carnival Jubilee rooms include a desk/vanity with mirror, an ottoman (with hidden storage), a wardrobe, TV, minifridge, hair dryer, safe, telephone and individual climate control. Most include two twin beds that can be combined into a king, though some have a king that can’t be separated. Beds each have two teeny-tiny night tables, two reading lights and two USB ports. Additionally, desks have 110 AC power outlets with U.S. sockets and more USB ports. While some may see the lack of windows as a downside, it can actually be a plus for those who love sleeping in complete darkness. Plus, the smaller size of the room can make it feel even more intimate and comfortable.
